Ryan Bray, a kind-hearted individual, always tries to help those in need. One Sunday, he encountered a panhandler and felt compelled to make a bigger difference in the man’s life. Instead of giving spare change, Bray offered him a job at his family business for $15 per hour. Surprisingly, the beggar scoffed at the offer, claiming he made more money begging.
As Bray considered offering a higher wage, the beggar became hostile. Offended, Bray decided to take action. He made a sign and returned to the same street corner, publicly condemning the panhandler for his lack of ambition.
The beggar, who remained anonymous, told reporters in Florida that Bray had lied about offering him a job. He said he just wanted help to escape life on the streets. However, Bray stands firm in his belief that by discouraging people from giving money to beggars, they will be compelled to leave the neighborhood.
Bray sees this incident as an opportunity to change perspectives and stop contributing to the problem.
