In an Instagram post, the “Bejeweled” singer praised Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader,” and emphasized her belief in achieving more through leadership rooted in calm rather than chaos.
At the MTV 2024 Video Music Awards (VMAs), held the night after the debate, Swift used her acceptance speech for “Video of the Year” to encourage voter registration, highlighting the importance of participating in the upcoming presidential election.
