On Friday’s episode of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” comedian Bill Maher predicted that former President Trump would lose the 2024 presidential election. Maher expressed his belief that the race is essentially over, citing his previous stance as a “Trump alarmist” who believed Trump still had a chance even after the “Access Hollywood” tape controversy.
Political commentator and GOP pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson disagreed with Maher, arguing that Trump’s familiarity with voters and his policies could still be a significant advantage. She noted that polls in battleground states remain very close, with Trump’s support still strong.
Despite this, Maher remained confident in his prediction, suggesting that even if polls are tied on Election Day, Trump would ultimately lose. National polls currently show a narrow lead for Harris over Trump.
