Harris Campaign Bolsters Latino Outreach with New Strategists
Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is significantly enhancing its Latino voter outreach by bringing on four experienced strategists. This move aims to boost efforts with less than 60 days remaining until Election Day.
Meet the New Team Members:
- Alida García: Former senior adviser for migration in the Biden White House, García has a strong background in Latino outreach. She previously directed coalitions for FWD.us and worked on Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign.
- Jorge Neri: A Chicago native with extensive experience in political strategy, Neri served as a senior adviser to President Biden and worked on campaigns for Obama and Clinton. His focus includes immigration and labor advocacy.
- Nathaly Arriola Maurice: Maurice has concentrated on increasing Latino representation in media and served in both the Biden and Obama administrations. She also advised former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
- Jess Morales Rocketto: A media entrepreneur and advocate, Morales Rocketto’s company bought 18 Hispanic-serving radio stations in 2022. She brings expertise in digital organizing from her work with the Obama and Clinton campaigns.
